Abstract
In this inquiry, the author examines experience of heightened suffering
and precarity, in the midst of Anthropocene pandemic crisis conditions,
from the perspective of critical theoretical psychology, and discusses
the contribution of transcendental phenomenology and its methods to
understanding the constitution of suffering and critical consciousness
of suffering. A person- and social justice-centered critical theoretical
framework within phenomenology is discussed, as well as implications
for fostering of resilience and hope in the present, as well as in future
