Dear Readers,

At the outset, I sincerely apologize for the slight delay in bringing out the present issue of InterViews: An Interdisciplinary Journal in Social Sciences. The reason for being delayed is two-folded. Firstly, the review process was carried out keeping in mind the strictness, fairness, and at the same time, upholding the ethical norms that our journal is devoted upon. At some point, it took a lot of work to get review experts for a few manuscripts from overseas and from India. Secondly, ensuring that manuscripts are research-oriented and follow the journal standards also demands ample time.

Being interdisciplinary in its nature, InterViews provides a platform for dis cussion and dialogue across social sciences, viz., anthropology, archaeology, psychology, literature, history, politics, etc. After an exhaustive screening and revisions, the present issue comprises 6 research articles, 1 article review, and 1 book review that have been selected for publication. These articles offer insightful reflections, findings, and suggestions. Not all manuscripts are of exceptionally high research rigor, and few are the fruits of the honest labor of passionate and young researchers. Hence, I invite you to be generous in your critical appreciation.

I am pleased to present this volume to the readers and wish everyone a fruit ful experience. I thank the patron, advisors, editors, authors, and all the well-wishers for their contribution towards the success of this publication.
